"The Good Wife"
Can you say at this very moment that you love Me? Can one say at this very moment in time that you are a "Good Wife" to Christ? Men as well as a woman are in the body of believers. We are standing in the spiritual dressing room preparing for the final fitting into the bridal gown to meet with the bridegroom and complete the ceremony and elope in the presence of everyone that we are a Good Wife for Christ.
"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtaineth favor of the LORD".
Proverbs 18:22. Women should have the qualities of a wife first, then marry. In humanity, this character trait is necessary how much the more to become the bride of
Christ to be a wife and prepared when the Bridegroom appears. The favor that we receive, this grace that we have obtained, we shall forever be with the Lord. What a bridal gift some fail to open!
We have been faithful and committed to Him as a wife should be. Are you willing to affirm and declare this to the entire world and say I do? True love is as they say 'hard to find', but God without a doubt "so" loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life". John 3:16. If you love me will you die for me? This is a two-way commitment. Christ died so that we may live. And we are baptized so that we may die to self (our old sinful ways) and that we may live in the newness of Christ. So are you new in Him, do you live your life as you love your Husband Jesus? Our first and foremost duty is our daily dying to self, demonstrating our love for Christ. Hence being a "Good Wife". You are the only one who can decide to be left alone standing at the altar and the Bridegroom has departed with the true bride, the wise virgins.
The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight a cry was heard: Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding, and the door was shut.
Afterward, the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us! But he answered and said, assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you."
Watch, therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. Matthew 25:1-13.
The Bridegroom found all the virgins unaware of when He would arrive. But there is a false god who will appear prior to Jesus' arrival and his name is the devil the adversary. He will impersonate Christ and gather his followers; the whole world will worship the beast except the wise virgins who continue to "keep the Commandants of God and the faith of Jesus". Revelation 14:12. We will need to diligently read the Bible and seek the truth of the Scriptures on the method of how the authentic Messiah will return (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). It is wise in this hour of the end of days to study the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation. It Is Written by Pastor John Bradshaw recently completed a series Revelation The Great Reset that will assist one on this journey (Revelationtoday.com) for more information. PRAYER: Father continue to transform us into wise virgins until Jesus returns. In the parable of the virgins, even the wise virgins were caught off guard when the Bridegroom arrived. The end-time events will occur suddenly. let us be sober and vigilant to watch and pray. We shall walk in the word of God and in his faith, strength, love, and wisdom. Thank you for your faithfulness and love. Have mercy on all of us to walk in the Light of Christ. In Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.
